Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm so grateful for a wonderful husband and the sweetest little boy, I love them so much! I'm so grateful for my family and Justin's family and the big role they play in our lives. I'm so thankful for amazing neighbors and friends and especially for the gospel in my life.

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Justin's aunt Holly and uncle Lee's house. We had a delicious turkey dinner and played some fun games. Then we went to my family's and had yummy pie. Then me and my mom and neighbor got on our game faces and went black friday shopping! We went to walmart shopko target and kohl's. Wow! It was a bit crazy and I did get knocked around a bit and was pretty numb by the time I got home but I got everything I wanted and got some GOOD deals! So it was worth it.

It's winter time!

Saturday was Chase's first time playing in the snow. Him and daddy bundled up and made a snowman and Chase helped daddy shovel the walks. Chase thought it was pretty awesome, his favorite part was licking the snow.

2nd half of Halloween night!

So after we took Chase trick or treating we went to Grandpa Glenn's house and we got some yummy treats and then we went to my parents house and got some yummy treats and then we went to our friends, Tyler and Heidi Sorenson's house for a fun costume party! We played games and there were prizes and there was a yummy spooky buffet. So we had a busy night but it was a fun Halloween!

First half of Halloween night!

Here is the first half of the night...we went to our neighbors, Emily and Andrew's house, and we had dinner. Before we ate it though Emily had all the kids watch as she put a spell over them and the dinner. She put a little bowl inside of the big cauldron and dropped bugs and real worms in it and then she dared the kids to drink it..only one did ha ha. The kids didn't know that the little bowl was in there so that the bugs and worms didn't touch the apple juice. It was pretty funny to watch there faces as Emily drank it. Then we had slimy chicken noodle soup with green noodles, and black broth. And green ham and cheese rolls. It didn't look appetizing but it was delicious! We went trick or treating around the neighborhood after dinner. Chase loved it but didn't really catch on, he wanted to eat every piece of candy in his bowl right after he got it ha ha. Chase was a very cute puppy! And I was a witch and Justin made a very handsome buff cowboy! The second half of halloween night is coming...once again on Justin's phone.

Pumpkin and cookie party!

The last couple years we have gotten together with our good friends Scott and Stace to carve pumpkins. This year Chase had a new friend to play with, there new baby Korey, he's a cutie! They came to our house this year and the girls frosted cookies while the boys carved the pumpkins. We had a lot of fun!!

St. George!

Over UEA we went with my family to st george and stayed at the condo at green valley. It was a pretty relaxing vacation and it was nice and warm! Chase loved the pool this year and especially the kiddie pool where he could touch and play with his toys grandma brought him. We shopped, played by the pool and the boys got to golfing (thanks uncle ty!). Me and Justin left Chase with my parents for a night and went to Las Vegas! We stayed at the Excaliber hotel. I had never been to vegas so we wanted to see everything! We went to Bass Pro shop..Justin's favorite part, and all the shops and casinos on the strip. We saw some free shows and the fountains at the Belagio. And loved the buffets at the hotels!!! It was a quick fun getaway and we were tired from walking walking and walking some more! It was a fun vacation...Thanks mom and dad! And more pics of vegas are on the way...they are all on Justin's phone.

The Circus!

Grandpa Glenn was so nice and got us circus tickets again! We ended up with some extra tickets so Coleson and our cousins Brandt and Isaac came along with us. We went to the preshow and saw all the animals up close. Chase loved the tigers the most! The circus had new acts this year and they were pretty amazing! We even got to be circus celebrities again and go out on the floor, unfortunately for some of us our allergies got the best of us ha ha. But we still had fun! Thanks Grandpa Glenn!

Our Anniversary!

August 9th was our 4 year anniversary and Justin surprised me with Tim McGraw tickets!!! Tim was my childhood crush and he is my adult crush ha ha besides Justin! I've always wanted to see him in concert! We went to the usana ampitheatre. It was the best anniversary present! Justin doesn't usually like concerts but he came with me and we had an awesome time! Thanks babe!!!

Nursery!

Chase has been going to nursery now for 3 months! He has a hard time the first 5 minutes and then he does great the rest of the time. It's so nice because now I feel like I get spiritually fed at church instead of spending most of my time in the hallway. And Chase loves it too! He made this hat a couple Sundays ago.

Family Pics!

We haven't had a family picture of the 3 of us since Chase was three months old so I figured it was time since that was a year and a half ago and he's a big boy now. I'm usually terrified of family pictures and they stress me out and I'm mostly stressed out because I don't know how Chase is going to behave and if we will get any smiles out of him but he did great! I'm happy to say that I love them!!! I love the colors and the back grounds! I think our photographer did a fabulous job! Happy fall!

You have a minute to win it!

We have a new tradition with our neighbors that every winter and summer we do a "minute to win it" night. We have tons of fun doing this. We all bring different supplies for different games. We let the little ones get in on the fun to and we have a blast! There is nothing like a fun competition, eating finger foods, staying up late, and making a fool out of yourself. This last time we played Justin and I won! Yeah!

Crazy lives!

Well i finally have been able to catch up on my blog and you will notice that i had to catch up from Easter! Life has been a little crazy lately, I guess that's how summer goes. But we have been having a lot of fun to! Chase is growing up so much and loves to spend all day outside in the pool and the sandbox. Justin has been busy with work and scouts. And I have been busy with Chase, and my calling. I was called to camp director and camp is in 2 weeks. I'm really excited though even though it's stressful right now. I have always loved girls camp and I can't wait to go. We hope you are all having a fun safe summer to!!

St. George

We went down to St. George over the 4th of July and stayed at Justin's brother's, Tyler's house. It was a very much needed relaxing vacation! We went boating with uncle Tyler, golfing, swimming at Green Valley, to the movies, out to eat, to the family fiesta fun center, shopping at the outlets and we watched some fireworks. Uncle Ty did learn fast though that his house is not baby proof ha ha! Thanks uncle Ty for letting us stay with ya! We had a lot of fun!
